Cederik Leeuwe

Concrete Noir (114 pages) is a study in solitude and atmosphere, born from a stylistic exploration  at the beginning of my forties. This first edition is a proof of concept and the first state of an ongoing body of work: a medium-format-minded endeavor that marked a shift in both my pace and process. I continue to photograph industrial landscapes, extraction sites and transformed environments, allowing the project to expand and change as new images enter it.

The work shown here continues beyond that first edition. As the project develops, a revised edition will eventually bring together a broader version of Concrete Noir.
